Preliminary Task

Print Brief

The Print Brief includes two task
1) Preliminary Task: The construction of two pages of a school magazine for the preliminary task which include the cover and the content page for the cover page where a medium closeup shot is to be used as the main image and the content page should include all that is published in the magazine.

2) Main Task: secondly the construction of three pages of a music magazine on the genre of our choice for the main task , after finalizing the type of music the next step would be the development of the pages one by one. The three pages include

•  Main cover page
• Contents page
•  Double fold spread page  

For this purpose we are required to conduct our own photography shoot and all the images need to be authentic and self taken, and the using an editing software (Photoshop in our case) we are required to construct our pages using all the learned conventions. The main page will include a cover story and sub stories that are published in the magazine also the masthead etc. Secondly the contents of the second pages needed to be decided and it all needs to be self created and authentic. The last page which is our double fold spread which comes in the center of the magazine and is as the name implies two pages spread throughout which will contain related context

SHOOTING PLAN

I didn't really have everything figured out before the photo-shoot for my Magazine TB(The Beat) But as i progressed i did things according to the situation. I wanted to put a good impression on the audience and for that i didn't compromise on my Cost and expenses for the shoot as you can see below in the Budget Plan for my magazine. Now as you know Our society and especially teenagers which mainly are my target audience are very brand conscious and status symbolic,They look for the Brand not for the quality so I gave the audience exactly what they wanted by Wearing Branded Costumes and everything at its best. This is a main attraction secondly i wanted a model to pose for my magazine but i thought that he wouldn't have done things the way i exactly wanted so i decided to Pose myself for my magazine. I wanted to show a gripping attitude with a stylish pose and i think it resulted as a positive outcome for sure. The Electric guitar i am holding is Of the top and most Demanded company Les Paul Gibson. The Suit and shirt i am wearing is of well known brands too.Even the Hair paste i used for my hair styling is very famous for producing hair products.

I was confident about my Plan and i finalized all my work in about a month as i didn't wanted to waste time but also wanted a Perfect Execution.

I chose this name because a very soft corner in my heart makes me listen to Music very Passionately and puts me into a very peaceful and Imaginary atmosphere. For instance i like to listen to every Single sound in a particular Song. But what makes me to fall in love with the song is the catchy Beat and drumming of a Song.
